Share what an officer needs to know — before a word is spoken.
Blue Envelope Companion is a free app that helps people whose disability affects communication carry their key information, print a Blue Envelope, and show a clear screen during a traffic stop. Calm, private, and on your terms.
What is the Blue Envelope?
The Blue Envelope is a simple idea used by police programs across the country. A driver keeps their license, registration, and insurance inside a blue envelope, along with a short note explaining that they have a disability that may affect how they communicate — so an officer knows what to expect the moment they walk up to the car.
This app is the companion to that idea. It helps you get ready: keep your information in one place, print your own envelope and wallet card, and — if you need it — show a clear screen that speaks for you.
